Dooley's New Minas
The 5th tournament of the year ran at Dooleys in New Minas in conjunction with our second Battle of the Atlantic. The BOTA matches had quite an effect on the outcome of some of the tournament classes on this past Saturday. In our amateur portion we ran 3 classes, with Daniel Martle from PEI making his trip off the island worthwile...Daniel took home 2 of the 1st place trophies in the Lightweight left and right classes. And new comer Joey Clayton took top spot in Lefthand Heavyweight. Hope to see Joey lots more, he has a ton of potential! 
We ran 4 of our Elite classes saturday and out winners were:
Right Elite 3 - Ed Mclellan
Left Elite 3 - Artie MacMaster
Right Elite 2 - Shaun Deveau
Left Elite 2 - Mark Crouse
As I said the BOTA has some effect on the tournament as only Mark Crouse was able to capture the BOTA belts AND take top spot in the tournament. Way to go Mark!
