Battle of the Atlantic - Round Robin - Ocean Lanes

The much talked about Battle of the Atlantic (BOTA) round robin event took place in conjunction with the 2nd amateur tournament of the year in beautiful (even in winter) Tatamagouche. This event was our final round robin as the BOTA format will now be based on ranking and individual challenges to determine the #1 contender.

We were only able to run the light and middle weight classes as 2 of our 4 heavy weights couldn't make this event. There will be another event to run the heavy weights and you don't want to miss that. It will be a first of its kind and you won't believe the venue that we have lined up (more to come on this) No real major surprises on Saturday at Ocean Lanes.

Middle weight went much as expected but there was some upset on the light weight class where the favorite to win, Trever Weatherbee, placed 3rd under Artie and Ed. The grip that the BOTA uses was most definitely a factor in that!
