Monday Night Wars 4September 17, 2007 Ryan Purdy, Halifax def Will Sarty, Sackville 5-1 In this left hand match-up Ryan's top roll was too much or Will. Although Will stopped Ryan on a couple occasions he was too far down to bring him back. Matthew Purdy, Malagash def Mark Rockwell, Mount Uniacke 4-3 Mark took a 3-1 lead but Matthew made some adjustments and came back to beat Mark in overtime. 4-Way Challenge The 4-Way Challenge saw Terrence Wrigley go undefeated in the left hand round robin portion. However in the best of 3 final it was Christopher Scott who took the crown in two straight. Round-Robin Standings Terrence Wrigley 3-0 Christopher Scott 2-1 Brian Coffill 1-2 Vernon Weatherbee 0-3 Mark Crouse, Beaconsfield def Ed McLellan, Hilden 5-1 It appeared that Ed was going to take this but Mark made some adjustments and wore Ed down. Will Sarty, Sackville def Trever Weatherbee, Stewiacke 5-1 They split the first two matches but then Will's stamina took over. Trever also couldn't deal with Will's hand strength. |
