What first interested you in arm wrestling?
The fun of the sport, and the great competition.

Where was your first tournament?
New Waterford, Cape Breton

How did you do?
4th place, Left Hand Heavyweight



Why do you keep competing?
Because of the fun of the sport, and the high level of competition that the sport is at.

How much longer will you continue to compete?
As long as I possibly can.

What has been your most memorable moment?
Defeating Greg Harnish at the 2001 Provincials in the Left Hand Heavyweight division.

Who do you look forward to competing against and why?
Charlie McGeoghegan and Chris Scott. Because of the competitors they are, and what I have learned from each of them.

Who and where were your favorite matches?
Chris Scott in New Waterford, and Charlie McGeoghegan in Bedford are the two that come immediately to mind.



What are your favorite tournaments and why?
The Atlantic Canadians, and Circuit tournaments because of the high caliber of arm wrestlers that attend these tournaments.

Who do you look up to and why?
Chris Scott. I look up to Chris because I have learned more from Chris than any other arm wrestler. He always has time to help you in any way he can.

Who has been your greatest influence and why?
Rick Pinkney. Rick is a great influence because of his knowledge of the sport and his vast experience. He always roots for everyone and offers his experience to help others.

To what do you attribute your success?
Lots of prayer and practice.

What do you need to move up to next level?
More practice and weight training.



What are your expectations for the next 2 years? The next 5 years?
In the next two years I would like to win a Provincial title, and in the next five years a Canadian title.

What do you do for training?
Practice, practice, practice, and I also weight train 3 times a week.

How do you see the future of arm wrestling?
I see the future growing and becoming more known as a sport.

What changes to the sport would you like to see?
I would like to see more availability to the youth, and more recognition to the athletes involved in this sport..

What do you dislike about arm wrestling?
Not enough tournaments.
