What first interested you in arm wrestling?
I went to my first tournament and loved it.

Where was your first tournament?
"Chuggles" in Antigonish in 1992.

How did you do?
4th place.




Why do you keep competing?
I like the sport and the friendships that I have made through arm wrestling.

How much longer will you continue to compete?
I am no longer to compete.

What has been your most memorable moment?
Going to the Nationals in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick in 1999.

Who do you look forward to competing against and why?
Will Sarty, because we have such great matches against one another.

Who and where were your favorite matches?
Left handed against Perry Bruhm at Pat's Place in Antigonish.

What are your favorite tournaments and why?
The Provincials in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. It's a great tournament and I seem to do my very best there.

Who do you look up to and why?
Just about everyone that I pull with and against, because I keep learning from all of them.

Who has been your greatest influence and why?
Both Rick Pinkney and my parents, because they are always behind me no matter how my matches go.

What do you need to move up to next level?
More table time, more practice, and more weight training.



What are your expectations for the next 2 years? The next 5 years?
To again travel and compete at the Nationals, and to qualify and compete at the World's.

What do you do for training?
Weights, running and table time.

How do you see the future of arm wrestling?
With the kids, and holding more kids tournaments.

What changes to the sport would you like to see?
None

What do you dislike about arm wrestling?
Nothing
