What first interested you in arm wrestling?
I first got interested in arm wrestling while in high school.
Where was your first tournament?
P.E.I. Provincials in 1991
How did you do?
2nd place

Why do you keep competing?
The fun and the challenge of it. You can always learn more in this sport.
How much longer will you continue to compete?
Just as long as I possibly can.
What has been your most memorable moment?
Winning the Nationals 1998 at Thunder Bay, Ontario. Because of the incredible caliber of talent, you can't afford to make any mistakes.
Who do you look forward to competing against and why?
Mark MacPhail and Greg Harnish. When competing against these guys, I always need to be at the top my game.
Who and where were your favorite matches?
George Iszakouits at the 1998 Nationals, and Sylvain Perron at the Gloucester Fair in Ottawa.

What are your favorite tournaments and why?
The Atlantic Canadians. Everyone usually shows up trying to overthrow last years Atlantic champ.
Who do you look up to and why?
I'd like to mention Rick Pinkney and Scott MacInnis for all the work they put into the sport. These guys do a tremendous job putting together our tournaments, newsletters and web site.
Who has been your greatest influence and why?
Rick Pinkney. Rick always has a positive attitude, and his training tips and advice is invaluable.
To what do you attribute your success?
Hard work and prayer.
What do you need to move up to next level?
More dedication to training.

What are your expectations for the next 2 years? The next 5 years?
Hopefully another National title in the next 2 years, and a World title in the next 5 years would be awesome.
What do you do for training?
I fish lobster, herring, scallops, some weight training, and as much table time as I can fit in.
How do you see the future of arm wrestling?
Hopefully as an Olympic sport in the near future.
What changes to the sport would you like to see?
More kids tournaments, because after all, they are the future of the sport.
What do you dislike about arm wrestling?
Not enough tournaments, especially in the winter months.
